Hello!
This is my first ever blog post. I'm Kate, a copywriter at UKFast, an internet hosting provider located at the top of City Tower in Manchester. The views are phenomenal. From 28 floors up I can see everything from Wales to the Peak District. It's like working at the top of the World.
In the sunshine Manchester is gorgeous. Small enough to see from end to end, but large enough still to give the impression of being a thriving metropolis. Which it is. On gloomy days Manchester has a definite look of Mordor.
But now there is something really interesting to look at. City Tower is home to a family of Peregrine Falcons - apparently they're the fastest creatures on Earth! They soar past the windows and it's beautiful. My work colleagues are currently pressed, noses squashed against the windows, watching the feathered demons.
Six birds of prey gambolling about the city centre. It's a pleasure to watch. They have such sleek mottled bodies and they're really quite large, with tiny heads, curved beaks and the most evil eyes I've ever seen. They war with Sparrowhawks above the busy shopping district. And rumour has it they eat pigeons.

Hi Kate,
My name's Simon Dalley, I'm an Marketing Account Manager and I also work in The City Tower at Text Internet Marketing, I've seen the Peregrine falcons too!!
I've counted 5 of them, one of them seems to live on the top of the Arndale Tower.
Simon.
I was watching sparrow hawks chasing house martins last week.
Most of the time the house martins won...
I still haven't seen the falcons from the office yet!!!
